The Colorado Convention Center/SMG is proud to announce that Facilities Magazine has awarded its theatre venue, the Wells Fargo Theatre, with a 2012 Prime Site Award.

The industry publication has bestowed Prime Site Awards annually since 1994 to the top entertainment venues in North America. Award ballots run in their printed editions and online. The voters are their readers - booking agents, promoters, talent buyers and special event planners. The ballot is a write in ballot based on location, flexibility, seating, ticketing, lighting, sounds, staging, food & beverage, staff, backstage, and promotions/marketing.

This is the first time the Wells Fargo Theatre has won a Facilities Magazine Prime Site Award. The Colorado Convention Center has won a Prime Site Award from their sister publication, Facilities & Destinations.

The Wells Fargo Theatre is located inside the Colorado Convention Center in downtown Denver.  It is a 5,000 seat venue that has been designed as one of the most technically advanced theaters of its kind. This venue offers the best possible acoustics for concerts, lectures, general sessions and family spectaculars.
