Is That A Bear on the Basket? 16 Blue Bear B-cycles Celebrate Partnership with Colorado Convention Center
Sixteen blue bear B-cycles have joined the fleet this spring in honor of the famous “I See What You Mean” giant blue bear sculpture at the Colorado Convention Center.
“The bears are officially out of hibernation and on the loose here in the city,” said Denver B-cycle executive director Nick Bohnenkamp. “Our two convention center stations are among our busiest locations in the city, and the Colorado Convention Center has been a terrific partner in supporting our shared bicycle system. These bicycles are a colorful tribute to the most famous bear in Denver.”
One of the blue bear bikes is fully wrapped in the blue bear “style” with 3-D geometric print.
The two Colorado Convention Center stations are located at 14th & Stout, and 14th & Welton in downtown Denver, but the 16 blue bear B-cycles are dispersed throughout the fleet.
