Mayor Hancock to Kick-off International Renewable Energy Conference

DENVER – Mayor Michael B. Hancock will join renewable energy leaders this Thursday to kick-off the inaugural World Renewable Energy Forum (WREF), projected to bring thousands of visitors from 66 different countries to the Mile High City.
Mayor Hancock will also announce local job gains in the renewable energy sector and the City’s plans to continue growing the Denver metro region’s New Energy Economy.
The WREF brings together prominent dignitaries, businesses and industry experts to examine how to address economic, environmental and security challenges through the advancement of renewable energy technologies. The Forum will also feature a free event open to the public to showcase various types of electric vehicles.
