DENVER — Nov. 13, 2013 — Tickets are on sale now for Denver Music Summit, Nov. 22-24, featuring recently added performances by Gregory Alan Isakov, PHOX, Josiah Johnson of The Head & the Heart, Joe Pug, Ark Life and Ian Cooke.
Hosted by Create Denver in partnership with the IMTour Program and WESTAF, Denver Music Summit programs and performances will take place at the Mercury Café on Nov. 22 and at the McNichols Civic Center Building Nov. 23-24.
FRIDAY, NOV. 22 THE MERCURY CAFÉ, 2199 California St. 6-8pm Opening night reception (open to the public)
8-11pm Live performance by PHOX, featuring opening collaborative performances by Josiah Johnson (The Head & the Heart), Ark Life, Carleigh Aikins, The Changing Colors, Chimney Choir, Ian Cooke and Tamara Lindeman.
Hosted by Corey Jones from OpenAir. Tickets: $10
SATURDAY, NOV. 23 MCNICHOLS BUILDING, 144 W. Colfax Ave. 10am-6pm Musician workshops, panels, Future of Music Coalition presentation, and a special keynote luncheon with Dessa and DJ Cavem Moetavation, supported by Colorado Creative Industries & Illegal Pete’s.
Registration for Saturday and Sunday's daytime sessions is $10 (includes both days)
7-11pm The Narrators: Stories from the Road, hosted by Andrew Orvedahl and Robert Rutherford, with stories from Dessa, Scott Booker, Jeff Linsenmeier (The Czars, The Fray), Erin Roberts (Porlolo), and Yonnas Abrahams (BLKHRTS). Followed by live music performances from David Bazan (Pedro the Lion), Will Johnson, and Erika Wennerstrom (Heartless Bastards). Tickets: $10
SUNDAY, NOV. 24 MCNICHOLS BUILDING, 144 W. Colfax Ave. Noon-2pm Ask the Experts: Rountables with Industry Pros & continental brunch

3-6pm Acoustic afternoon and closing reception with live performances by Joe Pug, Gregory Alan Isakov, Laura Burhenn (The Mynabirds/The Postal Service), Eric Johnson (Fruit Bats) and additional local guests. Tickets: $10
