Sustainability and the local community
Sustainability is not only about natural resources and the environmental, but also about the local community. Therefore, we work to implement and participate in programs that extend beyond the walls of the Convention Center and contribute to the overall benefit of the city of Denver.
Highlights
- Donation Program: We partner with several non-profits and local organizations to donate left over conference materials. Please reference below the Donation Guide to learn more about these partnerships and what materials we accept.
- Group Volunteer Opportunities: Denver has several organizations needing volunteers. Please reference below the Group Volunteer Opportunities for a list of opportunities and contacts.
-
Adoption Platte River Clean Up: In 2010 the Colorado Convention Center adopted 8 acres of land along the Platte River in Downtown Denver. As part of this commitment, we will maintain the area a minimum of 3 times per year. This is also a walk-able and fun volunteer opportunity for your group.
