Wireless-enabled (Wi-Fi) devices automatically detect available wireless access points (hardware devices that are physically installed at a location to transmit access to a wireless network). There are access points deployed throughout the common areas of the Colorado Convention Center. Connectivity between wireless devices is established via radio frequencies. Customer devices must physically be located inside the facility to connect to this service. Access is available throughout the common areas only.

Priority Point is the wireless service available at the Colorado Convention Center in the common areas. This service is designed for business travelers who want to check their email or surf the web. All that is required is a laptop or PDA-type device with wireless (Wi-Fi) capability (or a wireless network card physically installed in the system) and either a credit card or a pre-paid access card to gain access. Pre-paid access cards are available for sale at the Business Center.

The 1 hour plan (60 minutes-$5.95) must be used within the 60 minute period following login.

The 1 day plan (24 hours-$15.95) is continuous for the consecutive 24 hour period.

The Priority Point service is available 7 days a week 24 hours a day requiring no advance orders.

If another page loads (ie: a personal home page), try to access another web site on the Internet. This will typically bring the Colorado Convention Center/Priority Point login page up automatically.
The Colorado Convention Center/Priority Point login page displays two price plans for wireless access: A 1 day plan (24 hours -$15.95) and a 1 hour plan (60 minutes-$5.95). Note: 1 hour plan is continuous for 60 minutes after initial login.
Method of payment. Priority Point offers two methods of payment for wireless access. All major credit cards are accepted and pre-paid Priority Access Cards are available for purchase at the Business Center.
Once a plan has been selected, credit card or pre-paid access information must then be entered and submitted on the login page. The login page is encrypted for your security and privacy.
If paying by credit card, the user will be granted access once payment is successfully submitted. The pre-paid cards will provide the necessary login information in a scratch-off area located on the card. Pre-paid cards are non-transferable and cannot be used for multiple devices. Once a login has been created, the card will remain with a single machine for the duration of the time allocated. Please note that time on cards is exact and access will expire simultaneously with card time. Credit card transactions will only be charged once, errors or problems encountered during the login process will not allow your card to be charged multiple times.
Priority Point works with most Internet applications and VPN clients. Coverage cannot be guaranteed. Compatibility may vary. No support is provided for specific application.

Yes. The connection is made with a secure server and the transaction is encrypted for your security. If you have any concerns, pre-paid Priority Point Access Cards are available for sale at the Business Center.

I am trying to send an email but the message fails to send?

If you are trying to send mail out from a Priority Point wireless connection and you are not using a webmail client (yahoo, hotmail, etc...), you can use Priority Point's outgoing mail server which is smtp.prioritynetworks.net. If you cannot alter your mail client settings you can go to web2mail.com, which will let you enter in the information for your existing email account and present you with a web interface to send emails.

Can I purchase a wireless card at the Colorado Convention Center?

Not at this time.

What is my username and password?

Access to Priority Point does not require a user name or password. You can login by entering the access code from the scratch off area of the Priority Point Access Card or by entering your credit card information into our secure server. Priority Point Access Cards are available at the Business Center.

When I access my web browser on my wireless system, it is not the Colorado Convention Center/Priority Point login page. How do I login?

Initial login through the Colorado Convention Center/Priority Point access page took me to the Internet but now I am unable to get connected again!

There may be a virus on your computer. If this is the case, you will be locked out of the network until the virus is detected and deleted using anti-virus software. There is no sign-off for Priority Point once you have logged in; it is possible your time has expired? For assistance contact Priority Point technical support at (702) 967-9300.

I see the Colorado Convention Center /Priority Point wireless network but my laptop will not connect?

Review the ssid/ wireless network settings on your wireless card; be sure it is set to "priority". There may be additional security settings configured on your device interfering with your connection.
