The Event & Venue Marketing Conference (EVMC) rebrand is aimed at creating a more inclusive conference of event professionals who represent everything from stadiums to amphitheaters to clubs to live events. As a not-for-profit organization, EVMC has always been committed to educating and growing the current and next generation of event marketers. This is a step towards continuing that growth and embracing the vast network of marketers in all venues and promoters. Networking, educating and sharing trends and ideas across these disciplines through various industry leaders is a critical aspect of not only the Event & Venue Marketing Conference but the success of the live entertainment industry.

FIRST TIME ATTENDEES
If this is your first EVMC Conference, make sure to put ‘zero’ in the ‘number of past years you have attended field’ when you register, which will place you on our First Time Attendee email list.
You will then receive specific tips and general information from our Board Members, in advance of the conference, such as where to go when you arrive, what to wear, and more! The field looks like this within the registration process:
Be sure to plan your travel to arrive in time to attend the First Time Attendee Welcome on Wednesday, June 7th. More details will be included on the Agenda page and in our emails as we get closer to the conference, but all provide great networking opportunities right from the start!
‘PEER-TO-PEER’ MENTORING

INTERNSHIPS & SCHOLARSHIPS
EVMC COLLEGE INTERNSHIPS
In 2003, the EVMC Board of Directors awarded its first internships to college students interested in the live entertainment industry. The internships provide the opportunity to attend the conference sessions and evening activities, assist committee members throughout the conference with registration and surveys, network with live entertainment executives and inquire about possible future job openings within the industry. Including the 2022 conference interns, a total of 96 internships have been awarded to deserving students entering the live entertainment industry.
To apply, please complete the application below and provide the following: Resume, Video Essay and two Letters of Recommendation.
Applications for the EVMC 2024 Internship are now open and must be submitted by March 29, 2024.
Up to eight* Conference Internships will be awarded.
- Internships will include all EVMC registration fees and hotel accommodations. Travel stipends are available if applicant does not currently reside in the host city.
EVMC COLLEGE INTERNSHIP APPLICATION
2024 EVMC LEGACY OF LEADERSHIP FUND
Due to the overwhelming support over the years with the Silent Auction & Raffle, EVMC is now able to offer a Scholarship for Industry Professionals, now called the EVMC Legacy of Leadership Fund.
This scholarship is different from the College Internship, as this opportunity is open to attendees who work in the industry and have never attended the conference or have attended in the past, but for financial reasons would not be able to attend.
Applications for EVMC 2024 are now open.
Up to three* Legacy of Leadership Fund Scholarships will be awarded.
- Awarded fund will include all EVMC registration fees and hotel accommodations for three nights. Travel is the recipient’s responsibility.
