TRULY/RURAL is a lenticular print of a tongue twister that resonates with stereotypes surrounding Colorado and the West. The piece playfully explores the space between speaking and reading through the exploration of a linguistic “glitch.” The lenctiular material changes the word that is seen dependent upon the angle of viewing, thereby alternating between TRULY and RURAL.
